Baptist West, Knoxville, TN

Tuesday, August 28, 2007

I have been given the opportunity to speak once a month at the baby classes for Baptist Hospital West in Knoxville, TN.  I am so excited to have this opportunity and can’t wait to branch out to other hospitals.  My friend Sarah and I get to go speak about our experience with cloth diapers and hand out information about them.  I am so excited to tell others about the new cloth diapers.  Most people think about their grandma’s cloth diapers...using pins and plastic covers that leak everywhere, dunking in the toilet.  NOT ANYMORE!  Soon my store will be up and you can see how easy the Fuzzi Bunz are!

Enjoy!

Wow, I cannot believe I have not written anything on here for almost a year.  Let’s see.  Last October we found out we were having another baby.  Jett Mason was born June 12 this year.  It has been so hectic.  Two kids under 2 years old is harder than I thought it would be.  It has been a roller coaster of emotions but amazing would best describe it.  Kids are such a blessing, even when they wake up every hour, they are still an amazing blessing from God.  We need to remember to cherish every waking moment with our children, they grow so fast.  They are only little for such a short period.  Good luck to all the new mothers and mothers to be.  Just remember that they’re only little once.  Enjoy it while it lasts!

Where I Get My Natural Cleaners

Monday, October 16, 2006

imageWith this new website, I want to post about things that I believe in.  Items that I use and want others to know about.  You won’t find anything on here that I have not tried myself.  So a few things that I can’t do without are my Melaleuca products.  I get my cleaners, soap, shampoo, and many more items here.  If you have any questions about the quality of these products you can contact me.  If you’re looking for a safer alternative to cleaners, there you go.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Website is Finally Live!

Wednesday, October 11, 2006

image Well, after months of bugging my husband, the new website is finally up! He’s still working on the store part of it, but until then there’s plenty to look at. I’ll be posting as often as I can (a little difficult with an 11 month old!) with all kinds of thoughts, observations and links to natural living. You can also subcribe to the RSS/Atom feeds if you’re into that sort of thing. I’ve also got comments enabled on most posts, so I want to hear from each and every one of you. I know there is a community of natural moms and dads here in K-town, and I want this to be a place you can come and hang out with like-minded people.

So stick around, take a look and stay in touch. The store is coming soon with all kinds of hand-made goodies from moms right here in East Tennessee, not to mention great deals on cloth diapers and accessories. Hope to hear from you soon!
